We had a conversation about how you meet someone and decide you want to date and ultimately get married. As she put it "Hey, I kinda like you. Let's hang out forever." It's things like this that made me decide I do, in fact, want to hang out forever.
Just when you start thinking the country has finally moved past discrimination, you see something like this. I was driving behind a plumber on my way to work yesterday and spotted something I found completely offensive. Why, I ask, would you not provide your service to midgets and other small people? I mean, they need plumbers too! The back of his truck clearly stated 'No job to small.' I just don't understand why we can't come together as a people and move past this type of backwards thinking.
Have you ever noticed how most pickup truck drivers can get into a car and drive at 80 mph, but as soon as they're in their fucking truck they drive at 20? BTW, I hate Canada too.
I just find this interesting. We scheduled to have the tree in the back of our house taken down. We've been in the house for two years and have waited one week since scheduling with the tree service. In that week, the tree decided to start coming down on its own. Half of it is laying in our backyard. Unfortunately, our neighbor was not underneath it when this happened.
I'm not sure what to do with myself. There isn't much going on in entertainment news today. I guess I'll have to go read byoolin's trebuchet.
I'm not impressed with trucks that need to advertise they are "4X4" on the side. It really just increases the chance I will slice their tires.
I find it incredibly disturbing, how much Jenna Bush looks like both of her parents. It's just plain weird.
So here's my latest dilemma (I know I haven't blogged in months, I'll try to fix that). Anyway, every day I drive back and forth to work. I have six preset radio stations I flip through as I drive. At some point my mind started wandering and I realized the odds of my death from a fiery car accident are as good as anything else at this point (except for Parkinson's, which I'm certain I will get soon). So, with that in mind, every time I change the radio station, I can't help but think about whether or not the song that is playing could be the last one I ever hear. It really makes you choose wisely. So, keep that in mind next time you're station surfing.
