You know, that whole "of the Day" part of the title kind of implies that there would be a new Interesting Fact on a daily basis - or at least, on a basis somewhat more frequent than "no more than once every 367 days."
Maybe the "Interesting Fact of the Day" for August 25, 2009 should be "The death of that Titanic survivor left the author of this blog unable to continue it."
