Monitoring
What the fuck is that? I mean the noun version. We have to do a monitoring. I hate the fact that my job has all these meaningless words that are taking up space in my brain that I could have used for more gratifying things, like burning them away by drinking excessive amounts of alcohol.

Kind of like all of that now-useless musical terminology. I can outplay, outwit, and outlast most music theorists, but it's hard out here for a ... formerly talented musician.
