I can be so condescending sometimes

Has anyone else noticed the word condescending everywhere? It seems like it got really popular at some point, and now just gets overused. I hear it in songs, and read it everywhere. Stupid people use it a lot (not nearly as much as ig-nernt). Anyway, I think it's time we save this word from going down the wrong path. Who's with me?
